Woody's Hideaway

Loved my first experience here. My boyfriend and I usually go to Main Event to play pool, but we’ve found a new favorite. In addition to pool, they have darts (the og version as well as a digital) and a golf simulator. It looks like the golf simulator can be for pure practice or there’s games involved. I went on a lowkey day (Sunday afternoon when it was pouring) so we got a table immediately, but our amazing waitress Angle let us know it can get busy and there will be a wait. Mainly in the evenings. The food was very mid, but sufficient as something to snack on while you’re playing. We tried the chicken sandwich, the wings and the loaded friend. The wings were my least favorite. I felt like everything (fries and wings) could have had more crisp to it but I can’t complain about the chicken sandwich! They also have some huge screens so we were able to watch the Astros while playing.

If you come to Woody’s Hideaway, you should definitely request Mary—she’s absolutely amazing! She’s been training me, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She’s so intelligent and patient, especially when it comes to teaching the computer system and walking me through all of my duties as a waitress. Mary is incredibly sweet and truly makes learning easy and enjoyable. She’s a total gem and a huge asset to the team. On top of that, the food at Woody’s is amazing—every dish I’ve tried has been delicious and made with care. The drinks? Incredible! The bartenders here are top-notch and really know what they’re doing. Whether you’re coming in for a meal, drinks, or just good vibes, you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty mixed crowed… we went on a Saturday night and it was cool. Very balanced drinks at a good price and very friendly staff. Lots of things to do not just pool.
