For me, my swing, my ability level and where I am at the gen 6 irons hit about the same (probably half a club better) as gen 5 so based on the data I was able to put more into a gen 6 driver which I absolutely hit more consistently and longer than the gen 5 and added a putter and picked up a lob wedge and still came out ahead. The best part is that I KNOW I hit those irons, hybrids and woods as well or at least half a club better based on the fitting session and instant feedback and was able to select performance vs being strategic with pricing. PXG Seattle is the best golf equipment and apparel source in Washington State. Every team member is super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything they sell. From clubs to apparel, you will get the support you'd expect. Their club-fitting professionals are incredibly skilled and helpful. I've had two fittings, and both were great experiences. Rick Barlament and Erik Stai helped me determine the best mix of clubs to start with and did not try to oversell me. They made the experiences comfortable and fun, which was super helpful since I've only been playing for a year. I was pretty nervous about the experience and felt calm within minutes of the fitting process beginning. The retail store team is no exception either in providing incredible service. Tyler Lundgren is always willing to jump on a call with another store to locate a size or specific item that I just have to have in my golf wardrobe. Tyler is also very helpful in styling outfits and goes out of his way to provide exceptional customer service. Cameron Bauer, Darren Crout, and Zack Conner also do the same for me. The team is always friendly, and I love hanging out in the store because of how comfortable, welcoming and positive they make my visits. As a woman golfer, I've had many other experiences from local and online retailers that are not positive and make you feel like an afterthought or bother due to a lack of knowledge about women's apparel and equipment. PXG is an exception to this rule, and even with all-male staff in their Seattle location, they make me feel comfortable and ensure that I get the service and information and feel good about my visits. Even the fitters I haven't worked with yet, like Taylor Brenden, Griffin Shimanek, and Jack Strickland, have taken the time to get to know me and are always friendly and say hello. I'm a converted super fan and cannot imagine how I would feel about continuing with learning the game of golf without my PXG team, equipment and apparel.
