Puttshack - Skokie

Even though the apps and the atmosphere were good, the service was a disaster. We probably got a new waiter (Nick), but besides being extremely slow, we got the apps and didn’t have silverware, napkins, or plates to start eating. Had to wait for him to bring a few waters at a time (we were a party of 10 adults and two kids). When we were done, he would only clean two plates/trays at a time, even though they were empty and could’ve been stacked. My Cali Chicken wrap was extremely bad and I left it untouched after taking half a bite. Definitely a great place for kids to come and have fun, especially during the bad weather, but get your fill with apps and definitely skip the Cali Chicken wrap.

Pretty fun place with electronic mini golf where the ball and putts are automatically tracked. Food was good for bar food, with some fun options like an Italian Beef spring roll. Mixed drinks are on the sweet side. Overall a pretty fun time for all ages.

Came here on Tuesday morning to have a drink and some food and was overly impressed by my server Krista. She was so personable and gave me great suggestions on the food and drinks. I ended up going with the tailpipes, which were delicious..the horseradish dip that comes with was amazing and a pineapple margarita that will be one of my favorite drink choices from here on out. Krista really went above and beyond to make my first time there memorable. Definitely asking for her and her suggestions every time I visit. Edit: Came back today to have a drink and catch some sports games on the tv. Krista for the win again with the rec on a crisp blue moon they have on tap, followed by the pineapple margarita. She really makes this my go to spot any night of the week.
